  • Travel Documents: A valid passport and visa are required for entry into Tanzania. Please ensure your passport has at least six months’ validity beyond your travel dates.
  • Health & Vaccinations: Travelers may need vaccinations (such as yellow fever) and should consider malaria prophylaxis. Check with your healthcare provider before departure.
  • Physical Requirements: The safari involves long days in a vehicle and some walking around lodges/camps. A moderate level of mobility is required, but no strenuous activity is expected.
  • Baggage Restrictions: Soft-sided luggage is recommended due to limited space in safari vehicles and light aircraft (if used).
  • Weather & Clothing: Temperatures can vary—warm days and cooler evenings. Pack layered clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
  • Wildlife Sightings: Animal sightings are highly likely but cannot be guaranteed, as the experience is in natural, wild environments.
  • Child Policy: Families with children are welcome, but some lodges may have age restrictions for safety reasons.
  • Travel Insurance: Strongly recommended to cover medical, trip delays, and cancellations.
  • Special Requests: Dietary needs and special requests should be shared in advance so we can make arrangements with the lodges and camps.
What to bring
    • Clothing: Lightweight, breathable clothes in neutral colors (avoid bright colors and camouflage), a warm jacket or sweater for cool evenings, a hat, and a light rain jacket depending on the season.
    • Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots and casual sandals for the lodges.
    • Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat.
    • Swimwear: Many luxury lodges and camps have pools, so bring a swimsuit.
    • Personal Essentials: Insect repellent, personal toiletries, and any prescription medications.
    • Electronics: Camera with extra batteries/memory cards, binoculars, travel adapter (Tanzania uses Type D & G plugs), and a portable power bank.
    • Travel Documents: Passport, visa (if required), travel insurance documents, and copies of bookings/itinerary.
